I have just installed Microsoft XP. My computer has Outlook Express for email. I know how to export files from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook, but I cannot figure out how to disable Outlook Express so it gets no new mail. I want Microsoft Outlook to get all the new mail. I have all the incoming / outgoing server info correct on Microsoft Outlook

Ideas ??

Remove the relavent server information from Outlook Express, and it
will no longer receive new mail. That, or just never open Outlook
Express - it will only get mail when you have it opened. Don't know
the exact steps to removing the mail settings from OUtlook Express,
but I believe it's under Tools, Accounts - find the account you want
from the list (check the Mail tab if you have a bunch listed under
"All"). Click on it, and choose "Remove" from the right. That should
do the trick.

Hope this helps! :)
