Is it possible to convert a FoxPro application to VB?
The source code / documentation are unavailable.

Hi Bug,

When see does not see it here or do it anyway, ask this also in a Foxpro
newsgroup.

There Cindy will answer you probably for sure on this question.

I hope this helps?

There is AFAIK no tool available to do that.

It IS possible - I'm currently doing just that.

There's just no way of doing it automatically ;-))

Hi Bug,

As Jon said, there are no tools to convert VFP applications, but converting
the data only is another matter and fairly easy. Also, there are products
that will decompile an application, assuming that the app is yours and you
have the right to do so. Try ReFox, sold at www.hallogram.com.

Just passing a note that your domain name doesn't seem to be
up and running. Road Runner still having problems in North
Carolina?

I'm getting timed out waiting responses from the web browser.
The hops getting to your server look okay, at least up to that last
server listed there.

So it's not a 404 error where the server is down. It's like the server
is up and taking a year to respond.

Just passing along the information to you.

Hi Jim,

Thanks. We swapped out our UPS and I haven't got the tangle of cords
straightened out and plugged in again.

;-) Hey! Your website is back up!

Hi Jim,

I hope you enjoyed it, such as it is. It will be going back down again
though - we're getting new carpets soon and everything will need to be moved
around, including our computers. I'll be glad when it's done!
