i accidentally chose the wrong capture format when
putting my video on the computer and i want to burn it to
a DVD, is there a way to convert the file?

Depending on what format you chose your DVD authoring software should
convert automatically.

I like "Click and Convert" it sets itself into explorer so you can
right-click on a file and select the conversion type and then converts on
the fly. also works to batch convert multiple files and it works pretty
fast.
