Please don't SHOUT. Can you tell us more info about what you're doing when
this error message occurs? We can't guess very well....

I have the same problem, which is my reason for
accessing the newsgroup. The problem occurs when I use
the AccessLinks add-in in Excel 2002 to try to export
excel data into an Access table. It occursa whether I
try to export the data into a new table or an existing
table. This add-in is not part of the normal setup, but
is obtained from the Microsoft web site. I have tried
various solutions, but have not been successful. I have
not been able to find any other reference to the problem

Cheers, I'll pick that up

Hi Jim,

This sounds like the problem described at
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=328280
which is apparently fixed by installing
Jet 4 Service Pack 7 (details at
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=239114
)
