Now before you say "so what", notice that I'm not saying faction to
decimal. I just had a need of a decimal to fraction program and found
about the only one out there (unless I'm missing something). It's
located here:

http://info.elf.stuba.sk/packages/pub/pc/educult/

and the file name is:

fract261.zip

This is such an old program (for W95) that there is no longer any home
page for it. I just installed it and ran it, it works perfectly in ME.
It does require installation, but it doesn't run in the background and
it creates an Add/Remove Programs listing.
This is the kind of thing that you rarely need, but when you do
it's hard to find. I highly recommend this program for carpenters,
picture framers or anybody else who regularly uses a ruler with inch
increments. Since it appears that the program is no longer being
developed, I suggest that you download it now since the file has
disappeared from Simtel and many other other such sites.

Eh, make that "fraction", not "faction". My fingers tripped over my thumb.

I just use a calculator - multiply the bit after the decimal point by the
denominator you want, 64 being a good one to try first, and there's the
answer.

You can even use the back of an envelope if you haven't got a calculator
