I frequently find that I must copy and paste the contents of an email message
into aan appointment. It would save time if I could right click on the
message line and create an appoints as one is able to create a task.

Just drag the email to the calendar button on the navigation pane. It will
open up a new appointment with the text of the email in the appointment
body.

Thanks for the tip Patricia! I was looking for the capability of doing this
myself. Came to this newsgroup, did a search on "create appointment from
email", and this showed up in the list. Very cool.

My only (small) issue is the spacing in the appointment. It seems that each
blank line in the email is now 2 blank lines in the appointment. No big
deal, but it does look strange.

Thanks again!
John

I am in version 2003 and for some reason my text does not show up when I use
this feature. It works when dragging to a task not email?? Any Suggestions?
