How to convert comments to endnotes in word 2000?
Shall be grateful for any tips. Thanks.

Joyarjun,
As far as I know there is no way to do that. You can convert footnotes to
endnotes but not comments into endnotes.

You'd probably need to write a macro to do it. It could be a bit tedious,
but it should be possible.

Actually, Klaus Linke has one. Klaus's is footnotes, but Word will convert
footnotes to endnotes very easily. If the doc already has footnotes, then
you can change the code by replacing Footnote with Endnote, it should still
work.

TEST IT ON A COPY!

(may need to fix URL broken by linewrap)

If you wind up needing help with the code, you'd be best off posting to a
Word newsgroup with VBA and Programming in the name.

By the way, why do you want to?

If you just need to get your comments to someone without Word, conceivably
printing with markup to PDF would work. You'd need to google a free utility
to create the PDF, and the person would not be able to edit the document.
