Hi,

Is there anyway to convert Outlook 2003 PST file back
in to Outlook 2002 PST formats?

Cheers'
Dave

No. You have to use Outlook 2003 to create a PST compatible with Outlook
2002, then copy the items into the newly created older format PST.

I'm not quote sure what you mean, I tried the 2003 version didn't like it
and backed up
all my data into PST's! But now I find that it's a special 2003 version.
.....

I have pulled off the 2003 version of the program on my PC and went back to
2002 and tried
to restore my PST's ....now of course when I try to restore them back on to
my 2002 version
I can't use them becasue they are a 2003 version.

Is there a way to fix this?

How can I get back to my old 2002 and get my PST's re-imported in to it?

You have to create a 2002 compatible PST from within 2003. When you create a
new PST in Outlook 2003 it asks you if you want to create a Microsoft Office
Outlook Personal Folders file or a Outlook 97-2002 Compatible Personal
Folders file. You need to create the second type, then copy your information
from the incompatible PST file to the newly created one.
