Windows XP Convert AVi to DVD

Hey guys I have a load of family home movies that I have been editing on my computer,

All of the movies are in AVI format so I want to burn these AVI's to DVD,

Whats the best convertor to use?

If you have Nero6 then use NeroVision Express - works fine for me.
 
i have used DVD Santa and win DVD creator, neither are free but i dont know of anything else

ok Thanks, because when using Nero Vision Express when I select an AVI file which is 700 mb in size it displays in Nero Vision Express to be 3 Gig, That Cant be right?
 
when it converts it will increase in size, 3GB sounds about right

WOW I didnt know that I just thought that that when converted it might be a little bigger than usual,

NeroVision Express 3 is the latest version and will do the job for you fine, however go to the Ahead Nero update site to check for the latest updates...

You'll get about 60 to 65 minutes on a single layer DVD.

The upgrade (codec enable) for Nero Vision Express is $25.00 (works out to almost £15.00), I bought the upgrade myself, works fine for me.
