convert an ifo file

I have a Sony dvd 300 camera that saves with an ifo extension. How can I convert this ifo file to something that Movie Maker 2 can import?

Can not find a video editing program to work with camera.
The one that came with it is basic (sucks).
have you found a program or way to edit your movies from
the camera?
