I have several db files created in Ac 2000 that are run by users with Ac2007.
One user has two such files. When she wants to send me updated data, or
wants some changes, she simply makes an ac2000 file and sends it to me. One
of the files (not the other) gives her this message:
You Cannot Save this Database in an earlier version format, because it uses
features that require the current file format.
The statement isn't true. For a check, i sent her a copy of the Ac2000 file,
had her upload it in 2007, then ,without so much as entering one bit of data,
try to make an Ac2000 file. She still gets the message. Ishould add that,
in the past, she has been able to download the file several times a2K.
Any help would be appreciated-this is a real road block for us.
