I read the KB Article 832039 and accomplished it to the
letter to "convert" my 2000 PPT to 2003. Then packaged it
for CD autorun. All files are on the CD and in the root
directory including PPView 2003. Runs but no audio at
all. #832039 must be missing something. I see responses
here for AVI's and MPEG's that appear to be workarounds,
but I thought Article 832039 had been proved. I've made
enough revisions to the program with it opened in 2003 and
saved it with different names that it should have "made a
complete transformation" to 2003 but the Viewer just won't
connect the dots. Hmmmmm. It plays back beautifully in
PPT 2003(Slide Show), but won't do it in PPView.
Hope y'all can help. I'm down to the home stretch and
deadline is tomorrow. (Guess I'll just have to go back to
2000 version and suffer the animation and speed losses.)
Won't make my clients happy though.
I know there is a way, but I haven't found it yet.
Thanks for your help.
