Hi,

I'm curious as to whether or not it's possible to convert a ppt (on Windows
XP 2003) to a pdf. I know that it's easier or simplified in the new 2007
version but the company I'm working for has yet to obtain their lic.

Anyone know?

There a two ways:
1) Converters that integrate into PPT and can maintain for example
hyperlinks. They add a menu item for the conversion and are easiest to use.
Adobe Acrobat is the most common - and most priciest... - of these.

2) A "PDF printer" can convert anything into PDF that can be printed. So
anything that you can now get into paper printouts can be printed into a
PDF just by selecting a special printer driver. And the best thing is,
these tools are usually free. Common PDF printers include PrimoPDF and
PDF995.

Depending on what your needs are, these free tools can be totally
satisfactory.
