Conversion of Powerpoint 2007 to earlier versions

I generated a powerpoint presentation in 2007 and tried to
save it in 97-2003 *.ppt format and half of the pages did
not translate into the .ppt file. Did all the save conversions
that were suggested but got nowhere. Got around it by
saving in pdf format. Have others experienced the same
problem?
 
If you can, zip up the presentation and send it to me via email along
with a description of what went wrong. Also include whether you did this
on Windows XP or Vista. You can get my email from my website.
I'll submit it to Microsoft and see what they can figure out.

Yes, others have seen similar issues. Maybe not caused by the same problem,
but you're not alone.
