Powerpoint 2002 was ez to open Freelance presentation 2.0
(pre). in Powerpoint 2003 I can't open this anymore,
even the one that i can read in Powerpoing 2002.

I have complete installation of the program, including
all feachers.

I need help to setup Powerpoint 2003 to be able to
Freelance 2.0.

I'm not certain of this, but I think that PowerPoint 2003 no longer includes
the Freelance PRE converter software you'd need for this.

If you still have PowerPoint 2002, you could use it to convert to
PowerPoint, then save the file and open it in PowerPoint 2003.

Or a better solution, perhaps: get a copy of the latest version of
SmartSuite and install just Freelance.
SmartSuite is very inexpensive.

The latest versions of Freelance will read PRE and PRS files and can save to
PPT format.
The converted PPT file is generally a better conversion that PowerPoint can
do.

Hello Salloom,

PowerPoint 2003 does not include any converters for 3rd party presentation
software applications.

Steve has already provide the recommended workarounds.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
include converters to/from 3rd party presentation software applications,
don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
