ControlSource or Control Source

Hello,

In a field of my custom form, is there a way to link the data directly to an
SQL database? Perhaps through the controlsource or control source under
advanced properties?

Controlsource doesn't work on Outlook form controls. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?ID=25 for various ways to integrate databases into Outlook, including links to some custom forms.
