I have a report that I want to put 137 text boxes and 100 lines on but it
gives me the message that Microsoft Access can't create any more controls on
form or report when I try to add the 123 text box. Does anyone know a way to
get around this problem?

Thanks

You can have at least 754 controls on a form/report, but if
you've deleted a bunch, you need to Copy/Paste the report to
make a new copy to reclaim the space. At least I think that
will do it, but maybe a Compact was needed.

Don't forget that the sections and any text box labels also
count toward the total.

If worse comes to worse, instead of using Line controls, try
drawing the lines in their section's Print event using the
report's Line method.

Normalize or use subreports.

If you provide some information on what causes this many text boxes, perhaps
someone can provide a better solution.

Thanks, I give that a try.

Both Minnesota teams are out so there is no need to pursue this any further
;-)

You could do regionals as subreports.
