Controlling the refresh of imported (linked) data

I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains various imported
links from different Access queries. Originally, I had
these links set up to manually refresh, but I changed all
of them to automatically refresh each time the file is
opened. The reason I did this is because I had to click on
the cells that contained each set of imported data, and
refresh that one query result before going to the next one
and doing the same thing. Since I am linking 7 or 8
different queries across 5 different worksheets in this
one workbook, it was become quite tedious to manually
refresh these every time.

The automatic refresh works fine; however, there is a
small problem. The report I've created is seen by other
people in my company, and the refreshing of the data on
opening the spreadsheet is causing some of them problems.
One of the users here is prompted every time they open the
sheet, asking them whether or not they'd like to refresh
the data. I'm wondering if anyone knows why they are
prompted, but most of the others (including myself) aren't
prompted. I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere
that we can change to also be prompted; that way, the
person having trouble can just choose "No".

Any help is greatly appreciated on this.

There is an option one can set:
Tools / Options / Edit / Ask to update automatic links?
