Controlling Page Numbers

Please consider the following:

I have been able to get this to work to some extent (when I comment out the Me!
Salesperson line), but I don't understand the following from the Note at the bottom of the
page...

*** Note: the line Me!Salesperson should be changed to the control name of the group
you wish to track pages for.

"Control Name of the Group"??????

I'm trying to reset the total number of pages for each of two sub reports from my main
report.

I have a control ctlGrpPages in the main report in the Page Footer. SubReport 1 is in the
Report Header of the main report, and SubReport 2 is in the Report Footer of the main
report. SubReport1 and SubReport2 are NOT linked.

From the instructions in the Note:

1. What do I change the line "Me!Salesperson" to (and why)?

2. What is "the control name of the group you wish to track pages for"? If this is a
control like ctlGrpPages, where does it go?

Thanks much for any light you may shed on this for me...

Hi,
When the article refers to control name of the group,
it is referring to group headers or group footers in your
main report. The control name of the group is based on
the field that was used to create the group header or
group footer.
It doesn't sound like your main report has any group
headers or footers.
