Hello All

I'm runing Windows XP and Messenger 4.7.2009.
My problem is that even though I have messenger off line
when I first go online, it just automaticly logs on.
This is not when opening Outlook Express or any other
programme.
Is it possible to stop this?
So I can choose whether I want it to go online or not.

Regards
Michael

Greetings Michael,

The easiest way to get the behavior you prefer is to remove your saved password. To do so,
click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the
Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side of the screen, under
Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the
Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.

You'll then need to type in your password and passport each time you want to sign into
Messenger.
