i many computers in israel
when you write the name of the company in the address bar and press CONTROL
+ENTER you will get www.xxx.co.il
and i know that in most computers in the world "control + enter" gives
www.xxx.com (where xxx is the company name - example: google)
so i guess there MUST be a location to change .com to .co.il (and then
change it back!)
where is this location?
suppose i wanted control + enter to add "co.uk"
where do i make this change and how?

does ANYONE know the answer to my question?

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\UrlTemplate

Each of the values in the right pane represents one of the autocomplete
features, using CTRL-ENTER

Right click and create a new value, with the next available number. The
double click the value you just created and enter the template you wish,
using the previous entries as examples. Note, if a site such as
www.microsoft.com and www.microsoft.com.il both exist, the CTRL-ENTER method
will give you microsoft.com first.

thank you for the reply.
i added anew line and entered a value www.%s.co.il
then i checked it in explorer and it didn't work.
then i thought closing the browser and reopening it will do the trick
but it didn't.
any idea?
do i need to make it instead of number 1 in the list?
does it go over the numbers and check for the endings of the addresses
according to the number order?
why does it have a "value not set" for the default (first line before number
1)?
Eli

The Default value isn't set, because its not used. This is not unusual. I
don't have any specific information on why it won't work, unless its
something they've taken out of IE.
