Control tip text not working.

In access 2000, I have entered text into the control tip text and it does not
work. I have followed the help instructions to the letter. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks

IIRC, open the Form in DesignView, select the Control whose Tip Text doesn't
work and then bring it to front and the Tip Text should work.

Hi, Have looked but can't find. I don't think the text box I want the tip for
is behind anything. How do I bring it to the front? I can find no property to
do this. I t is on the detail section of a form in plain sight. What is IIRC?

Use the MenuBar Format / Bring To Front.

Search the Microsoft Support Knowledge Base and see if you can find
anything. Bring to Front worked for me previously.
