hi experts,
i just changed to HP Pavillion TX 1000 but still remain MSFT XP. However, i
realized soe of the settings in my powerpoint changed. When i tried to
ctrl+click multiple garphics or texts, it will always automatically make a
copy for all. ie. now there are 2 sets of the sme graphics/ texts i selected.
My intension is just to adjust their layout and position, not copy. can
anyone tell me anyway i can set something up?

Thanks in advance.
Sabrina

There is a little known, but highly useful tool called the Multiple
selection tool. It is not on the default toolbars in 2000-2003.

What version of PowerPoint are you using?

If you are not using 2007, it is available in the custom toolbar settings
under the Commands => Drawing Controls. In customize mode, just drag it to
the toolbar you want it on.

Hi Bill,
sorry that i didn't get my questions clear.
i am trying to multi select 2 items, the usual way is to ctrl+click both
items. But a copy is made instead of a simple multi select. Is there
something in the settings that enabled this? I am using ptt 2003.
