I tried to uninstall Norton System Works 2001 on my
daughter-in-law's computer before upgrading to a later
version. When I select Norton System Works using Control
Panel/Add-Remove Programs, then select remove, it asks me
if I want to remove Netscape 7.1 (which I don't). The same
thing happens when I try it via the Start
Menu/Programs/Norton System Works 2001/Uninstall. Any idea
what's wrong, anyone?

The uninstall information is kept in the registry, as described in tip 34 in the
'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com

Verify that the proper uninstall strings are configured.
