Control End

Can someoe tell me how to reset the cell reference that
the control end key refers to?

After downloading and sorting & eliminating data, i'm
often left with a several thousand fewer rows than what i
started with, but the CTL+END shrtcut will still refer to
the last cell prior to my data manipulation ie a blank
cell a long way from where my spreadsheet now actually
finishes.

Rod,

You have to delete the entire blank rows between where your data
really ends and where Excel thinks it ends.
Then save, close and reopen the workbook.
