Control appointment time display in Work Week view

When I view the Work Week instead of the Month, the start/end times
crowd out much of the information display area for each appointment.
How can I:

1. Show only the start time, not the end time?

2. Show only clock faces for the time(s)?

I tried to do this by right-clicking in the calendar area, selecting
OtherSettings, then toggling Week->ShowTimeAsClocks and Week-
ShowEndTime. Neither of them seem to do anything.

I am using Office 2003 on Windows XP.

The show time as clocks for the Week section should do it -

Try resetting the view and setting it again.

Actually, I found the problem. It only applies to 7-day week view.
There is no section in the Other Settings panel (aka Format Day/Week/
Month View) that allows such customizations for the 5-day week view
(which is the weekly view most likely to be used at work).

Yeah, the work week view uses the Day options, not the week options.

Just checked out the Day View options, and they don't provide an
option to show clock faces or avoid seeing end-times. :(
