Too little information you have provided us. Help us so we can help you.

Did you mean that nothing happens when you press Ctrl+Alt+Del key or Widows
didn't bring Task Manager?

If yes, then:

1. Click Start - Run - type REGEDIT and press enter key.
2. Expand To:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

3. In the right-side pane, delete the entry "DisableTaskMgr".
4. Restart your computer for changes to take effect.

What log on Windows you are talking about? Is it the Windows Welcome Screen?
Do you have only one user without any password and you still have to face
Welcome Screen?

If yes, then:

1. Click Start - Run - type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
2. Select the user from the list in which you want to Auto Login.
3. Uncheck the option "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer".
4. Apply the changes and restart to see if you can auto login.

Hope this is what you are looking for, let us know!
