Contrast in Search Engine Results - Phew!

I have just been astonished by the difference between two search
engines: Yahoo.com and Google.

The search was for: "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable"

In the Google search it was just like a flock of vultures coming in for
a feast - pure commercial with very little technical information.

In the search process I went to M*Shaft and got nothing useful.

Yahoo's results were the opposite - lots of technical info and far less
commercial AND there was a M*Shaft article precisely on what I was
looking for on the first page. Here is the URL:

Are M*Shaft and Google cooperating? Whether yes or no, Google is off my
list of search engines.

Now you know which engine to support.

Here's what scroogle produced, not bad:

Try searching: "disk structure" corrupted unreadable

more specific.

Now, try searching: NTFS partition corrupt unreadable

http://www.google.com/search?&q=NTFS+partition+corrupt+unreadable
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=NTFS+partition+corrupt+unreadable

Also, try excluding the following terms from all of your searches,
and see if that doesn't clean things up a bit:

"free trial" "free download" "free offer" "free to try" shareware price
