I am running a powerpoint presentation that runs a continuous loop. I added a wave file for sound. The PP show will do a continuous loop, but the sound runs through once and then stops

Any help on getting the sound to keep replaying along with the show would be helpful.

Marketing Dude,

Slideshow menu
Slide transistion
See where it reads "sound"

click the little down triangle drop down box thing
scroll down to the end of the list (why it's buried down here I'll never know...I guess it's so some people can appear
more knowledgeable even if we can't spel)
choose "other sound"
navigate to your sound
click ok or whatever it says

Tick "loop until next sound"

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

It depends on how the sound was added to the presentation, but if you used
the Insert -> Movies and Sounds -> Sound from file... command, you can make
the sound loop by:

1) Select the icon (speaker) for the inserted sound
2) Right+Click on the icon and choose "Edit Sound Object" from the context
menu
3) In the Sound Options dialog, click the option to "Loop until stopped"
4) Click "OK"

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have suggestions for how to
make this easier to find and do, don't forget to send your feedback (in
YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
