You'd be surprised at how many times folks have NOT tried something like
that ... I didn't ask to be rude, but to verify what had/had not been
attempted already.
I've noticed that Access sometimes (rarely) gets "confused". When this
happens to one of my forms, and after a suitable amount of time/effort
trying to fix it, I usually throw it out and start over with a new form.
