Have you any evidence that Windows Mail software itself
is corrupted or damaged as opposed to being interfered
with by other applications or user error?

If you have a problem with Windows Mail why not let
subscribers to this forum help you with it?

Mind you, that would involve giving a reasonable description
of the problem.

Start with this...

I understand that Microsoft has a new Beta version of VISTA Windows Mail.
Has anybody tried it and does it correct this problem ?

It's called Windows Live Mail:

It's too early to tell for sure, but in the 10 days I've been using it
I've seen far fewer problems than Windows Mail has. The decisive
aspect for me is that (unlike WM), Microsoft is actively supporting
and improving WLM.

I totally agree with GV everything he says is true, I have been using WLM
since day one with no problems.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I bought a laptop in March and seem to have nothing but problems with Vista.
My antivirus was not working (Mcafee) and had to re-install in.

Now I have 2 messages in my inbox and 1 in my outbox that I can't delete or
send. I've tried several things that have been suggested and nothing works.
Help....what is going to work. I can't send any emails with it.

I tried downloading the MCIU or whatever that file is called from oem. Said
had to close Windows mail, which it was but wouldn't let me clear out my
outbox.
I tried turning the preview pane off.

I've called Dell, there suggestion was to reinstall Vista. Mcafee went
through everything that related to them, everything didn't work.

I haven't any problems since I uinstalled McAfee and then used the
Uninstaller from the website.

Now I use Avast4 (free) with email scanning OFF.

This very simple and easy solution for the Outbox works, provided the user
is willing to carefully Read and Follow simple and easy instructions.

As far as the Inbox, several people are still working on it.
