Hi Ken,

I get the same message and I'm searching for an
answer. If you get one before I do, please share
it. I'll do the same. In the meantime, I'm booting
in safe mode with networking -- basically, really
crippled at the moment.

Marc and Ken,

I have exactly the same problem. Solved temporarily using
safe mode. I'll keep you both posted on progress if you
will do the same. Maybe Microsoft should be alerted. I
can't find an easy way to let them know. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Michael

I've made so many changes to my installation, that I just reformatted and reloaded win2k. I've been meaning to do this anyways. I believe my problems were caused by me - unfortunately, I don't think it was just one thing. I think it finally just got to the point that my installation was really messed up.

Sorry, can't help you further.

Marc
