I use WinXP/IE6. When I right-clicked on any file and select Send To on the
Context Menu, all my program shortcut are missing. Yet, I have 4 different
"Send To" folders in Documents and Settings and all still have all the
Programs I put there and worked for over a year. How do I get my Context
Menu to work again?

Hi Jack,

Open Regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders

What's the value of SendTo (in the right-pane) ?

"Send To" or "SendTo"? In this case, it does make a difference. You want
these folders named "SendTo"

Hi Ramesh! The registry path you sent me to says:
SendTo value says "I.SENDTO"
I do not have an "I" drive. I noticed that my directory folders have "Send
To" with a space.
What should I do now?

Jack,

The XP default User Shell Folders value for SendTo is given below:

%USERPROFILE%\SendTo
(In REG_EXPAND_SZ)

Backup the key and then set the above value to SendTo.

Hi Sharon, my mistake. The folders are already "SendTo".

No problem, Jack. Since small inconsistencies such as an added or missing
space can send customizing efforts into a tailspin, thought I should bring
it to your attention. You're in very good hands with Ramesh so will leave
you to sort the rest of this with his guidance.
