Could anyone tell me where my Content I.E folder should
be please?
I go to Documents & Settings - 'My Name'- Local Settings -
Temporary Internet Files but there's no Content I.E
folder.
If I follow the same route but choose Default User or
Owner the folder if there but with only the Index file
visable.
On my other computer the Content I.E. folder is found
in 'My Name'with about 4 other folders which I can
delete.
I want to be able to delete my temperary files and free
up space, but can't find the folder.

Thank you for any help.

The CONTENT.IE5 folder is not visible with the Windows Explorer as
long as you try to access the folder for your own profile.
To free up the disk space that is used by the Internet cache, in the
Control Panel > Internet Options > General press "Delete Files". You
can also relocate the folder here if you have a disk that has more
free disk space.

Thank you for your reply.
I don't understand then why I can access the folder
through my own profile on one PC but not the other.
My other PC creates folders with names like VXP8304JN
etc. within the CONTENT IE folder. These folders hold
Internet content which can be deleted.
It just seems odd that this PC I'm using at the moment
doesn't have these folders.

I do not know. But if you think that there is something wrong with the
folders: you can delete the entire TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES folder
from the Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Command Prompt. A new and empty
folder will be created when you restart Windows in the Normal Mode.
