office newbie

Hi,

I am using IE6 content advisor to block access to all but one website
which it does brilliantly. My problem is that the site I visit has
javascript pop-up windows as part of it that content advisor is
blocking. It does not seem to recognize them as part of the website.

Anyone have ideas on this or free content blocking solution.

Thanks in advance

Hi office newbie :-)

You don't tell us the version of Windows you are using, but, you might try
the following and see if it helps:

Open IE and go to Tools>Popup Blocker (or Manager)
Select Popup blocker Settings
There will be a window to enter the address of the site you want to allow
popups for, enter the website
Click Add
OK out

See if that allows the necessary popups for your site. If not, try setting
the Filter level to Medium

Hope this helps.
