We have a situation where we were setting adjunct as
contacts in the AD then the higher ups decided they
needed to access our sharepoint system thus requiring
them to be actual users. Is there a tool and or method
to convert the contact objects to user objects other then
deleting the contact objects and recreating them as users?
 
No, you can't convert contacts to users. You have to recreate them :-(
