I have a contact is listed only once in my "Contacts"
folder, but when I type in "Paul" it come up with another
email for this person that I can't find, delete or get
to. it must be there somewhere, but I can't find it.

Any suggestions?

Rather hard to say since you didn't mention your Outlook version.
Most likely in your autocompletion cache.
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q287623

It should, but if the entry keeps returning, are you sure you aren't
resending to that recipient?

I have a similar problem. I have deleted the entry, but
the entry eventually returns (either after reboot or
restarting Outlook, I'm not sure which yet.) Will
deleting the cache offer a more permanent solution?

Thanks.
