Contacts Size 300MB?

I have a user that has over 300mb in his Contacts under Outlook. He
only has 200-300 contacts w/o attachments. The mailbox has been
moved to another store and back and has been restored from backup
with the same problem. What would cause the Contacts to be so
large? Average size is around 100-200kb.
