We had a system crash which resulted in to complete
rebuild of our Exchange 5.5 system. Our backups are
completed using ArcServe 6.6 for Exchange and everything
restored fine with the exception of Calendars and
Contacts. We use Outlook 2000 for e-mailing.

When the contacts are restored, they show up within the
default view (Address Card) with no header. When you
change the view to By Company, they are all visible.
however the are displayed as None with the company name
listed as Full Name, but not in the Company Field. When
you go into one of the entries, the File As field shows
the choices. If you change the File As to something other
than the one that is listed, save the entry, it will
display in the default view. Is there a tool out there or
a fix somewhere to remedy this situation? I have a lot of
users who have a lot of contacts and this would be a
brutal process if this was the only way to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the the same issue during an Exchange restore (Exhange 5.5,
Windows 2000, Arcserve 9.0) .... data was there but the Contacts and
Calendar were in wrong format.
Do you receive nay helpful answers to this?

Thanks .. Ron
