When I try to compose an email, I get a message asking
for my permission to allow someone to use my address
book. Also my Outlook does not recognize my profile. We
run a synch program (Intellisync) from Yahoo with our
Outlook to share contacts and calendars in our small
office. The synch is working for everyone but me. We
have checked our settings and have the same but still
nothing...... We are using Outlook 2002 with Windows XP
Professional. Any ideas?????

Not really much to go on here. I have no idea how these Contacts are being
shared since it's a third party solution, what your information store is, or
what you mean by "Outlook does not recognize my profile."

We store our contacts and calendars on an internet based
Yahoo Business email account and have a program called
Intellisync which is put out by Pumatech (through
Yahoo). The Intellisync program is set up to synch with
all of our Computers (6 total) from yahoo to Outlook on
calendar and contacts. (our inexpensive alternative to an
exchange server) I have attempted to contact Yahoo and
they are absolutely NO HELP!!! Whenever I go to run my
synch I get the following error message:

No Profiles Available. You may have to re-configure
folder selections for MS Outlook or MS Exchange.

My computer is the only one acting up. Everyone elses is
working just fine. I thought there may be a corrupt file
in my Outlook so i uninstalled it and re-installed
it...still no luck!!!!! I have also totally uninstalled
my Yahoo applications and the synch program--no luck!
HELP!!!!! I am lost in cyberland according to my outlook
application settings....

Your problem is with Yahoo and Pumatech. That is not an error message ever
generated by Outlook. I'll be interested to learn if they ever help you.
