Hi,

I have a couple of issues I can't figure out and need
help. I have a user who is running Outlook 2003, and
apparenly had a personal address book as well as contacts
when we upgraded him. If he hits the "To" button on an e-
mail, all he sees is his contacts folder. Is there a way
to "copy" his PAB into his contacts, or get them to show
up when he wants to pick an address? Is it stored in a
different file than outlook.pst?

My 2nd issue is that Outlook remembers address you have
sent notes to (i.e. You create a new message and on
the "To" line hit the letter J, and all of the persons
you have sent notes to with the name Johnson appears)
which is great. However, if you misaddress an e-mail, it
also shows up in the list. Is there a way to remove
individual instances of this, or do you have to clear all
of the memory and start over. If so, how do I do that.
Thanks,

Mike

Since PAB's have been deprecated and are no longer in use, it might be a
good time to migrate the user to Contacts/Outlook Address Book. You should
be able to import it using Outlook's Import Wizard. If not, have you checked
to see if the PAB service has been added to the Outlook profile?

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

Russ,

That worked, Thanks for your help!
