Hi,
I got a new computer for Christmas and my contacts list from day one is
quite large and I can't seem to be able to inport or export it. Could ya'll
help me please.
Many Thanks,
MOL ;)

You first.
There is no separate "Contacts List" in Outlook.
What version are you using and what do you mean by "Contacts List?"

If I understood your problem correct, you should be able to export your
contacts (or your hole mailfile) to an -pst file and import in your new
computer

Importing and exporting are not recommended unless you need to change file
format.
Just copy the Outlook Data file and open it in the other installation.

MVP, my A$$. Some of you people give the most useless
advice.

What the heck do you think a contact list is? Hmmm, maybe
a list of all my contacts, you know, what comes up when
you hit the big Contacts button?

There is no such term as "Contact List" in Outlook.
Users who have used that term have variously been referring to:
1. One of their Contacts Folders within a PST (which you so accurately
describe as "the big Contacts button")
2. One of their Contacts Folders within an Exchange mailbox
3. A Distribution List
4. Their Outlook Address Book
5. One of the other Address Lists in Outlook such as the GAL, LDAP, PAB

Since you're so clairvoyant and know exactly which one the user is referring
to, answer the question. Answer several others while you're at it since
you're so helpful.
