Contacts names sort by fist and last mixed

In my Outlook Address book, i have set default to sort
names by 'Last, First' But it mixes up the list with first
names and last names. when looking for a person I have to
check the list for their first name and their last name.
Help.
I have Tools-Options-Contact Options-default file as order-
still sorts mixed.

That's not where you set the sort order for the Outlook Address Book.
Post your version so we can tell you where to set it.
