Contacts - Microsoft Exchange

Outlook 2002

When sending an email and selecting the to:, I was able
to access my Contact list. When I click contacts, no
addresses appear.

However, I can still view contacts but only by accessing
it via my outlook shortcuts.

I recently changed computers so I know this is possible.
 
When you click "contacts" where?
How many Contacts Folders do you have in your profile? (View > Folder List)
 
I have only one contacts folder located on the server
which is under the profile mailbox. I do not use the pst
folder located on my hard drive. I do use outlook
remotely so I do use the .ost files.

Issue is that I can view my contacts in the view folder
list. However, when I want to compose an email and click
the To: icon, I was able in the past to bring up the
outlook contacts. It is an option available but when I
choose contacts, no addresses appear.

Since I was able to do this before I know it can be done
but just don't know how I did it in the past.

Go to Tools | E-mail accounts, select "View or change existing directories
or address books", and click OK. If you don't see the Outlook Address Book
in the Directories and Address Books list, click the Back button, then
select "Add a new directory or address book", then "Additional Address
Books", and add the OAB. Then keep clicking Back until you get back to the
first dialog box, and go back to the Directories and Address Books list as
you did earlier. Once the OAB appears in the list, select it and then click
Change to make sure the Contacts folder(s) you want to display are listed.
If any of them aren't listed, you'll need to enable those Contacts folders
as Outlook Address Books by right clicking the folder, selecting Properties,
clicking the Outlook Address Book tab, and checking the "Show this folder as
an E-mail address book" box. Make sure you restart Outlook after making
these changes.
