We have a handful of computers running Windows XP, Office
XP, and using Exchange 2000 for e-mail.
Some of the the users have changed one contact list
(happens to be a public folder) to be sorted by company
(View, Current View, by Company).
After they did this the Outlook address book would reflect
the same sort pattern - but only on the contact list.
This turned out to be extremely helpful and we are now
trying to do the same on the other computers.
However, we sort the appropriate contact list by Company,
close Outlook, restart, then either open OAB or do a new e-
mail and pull up OAB to select an address and the names
are still in alphabetical order!!
Can anybody help? I searched through the knowledgebase
but did not find anything helpful.
Thanks,
Ryan
