Contacts folder could not be opened

I am using Outlook 2003. In the Navigation Pane under Contacts I have added
and deleted some contact folders. When I click on the address book and select
the Outlook Address Book under "Show Names from the:" I get duplicate contact
folder names. The list also displays contact folders which I have already
deleted. The following message appears when I select a deleted folder:

"The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened...For information on how to remove
this folder from outlook address book..."

I have searched for an answer with no success.

Sorry, just after posting I found the answer. I had been looking and trying
for hours.

Your problem sounds as if it may be the same as with a staff membe
for whom I provide technical support
