Contacts File + crashing?

Hi

I have been having a recent problem with my Outlook 2003 whereby it crashes upon startup. i was wondering if anyone knew either were the contacts files are found on my computer, or if there is any way of viewing my contacts through any other means. i have tried several methods to stop my outlook crashing upon startup also but to no avail so if anyone knows how to fix this that would be great also
