I have a related question.
Rather than applying a mass change to existing contacts, I wish to import
a
large number of contacts from an access database into the outlooks contact
folder.
For this purpose, I made a subfolder within the contacts folder called
"suppliers" and I am able to successfully import the records into that
subfolder.
However, like Diana I wish to have them "file as" by company name, not
first
name or last name.
I have tried by going to Tools - Options - Contacts to change the "file
as"
to company BEFORE importing the records, however this does not work.
If however I just enter one new contact from the File - new contact menu,
then the new record is entered with "file as" using company - however this
record is then saved in the root contacts folder.
Is the problem that I am using a subfolder or is it that the records are
being imported rather than manually entered & is there any easy way around
this or is running the script afterwards the only way?

I have about 300 addressed that I want to change the selection for how
it's
setup as "File as". Is there a way to change all the records to the
choice
I want ... in one step. I want the "company name", followed by the
"Full
Name". Thank.
