We are running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2. All clients are
running Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP2 in cached mode.
We have a user who has shared out a contact list on a resource
account. When copying a contact from this shared list to her personal
contacts folder, it will prompt her if the entry is a duplicate.
However, when copying from a personal contact list to the shared
contact list, it does * NOT * prompt, therefore, creates a duplcate
entry.
I have scoured the message boards and see there are several utilities
to remove duplicate entries, but does anyone know why it is not
prompting the user that this is a duplicate? As far as I know, they
are not using any custom forms.
