Contacts Backup

I am using OfficeXP Pro and I have a secondary hard disk
used strickly for backup of personal items. I use my
contacts list in Outlook to record many different items
for my family and employees. Is it possible to back up my
contacts list on this HD so that it may be imported back
into the Outlook file in case I might need to reformat
and reload my OS and Office software? I have tried the
archive method, but it does not allow me to choose my
secondary disk.

The file you need to back up is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
